Today, Lauren & I went into the city to meet a friend for lunch! She was in Pittsburgh on business. We had never met in person before and it was really fun to finally lay my eyes on her in real life. And a momma's lunch out. Debbie got to eat her very first Primanti Bros. sandwich, a Pittsburgh tradition. What a nice lunch!
Oooh, Jason told me about Primanti Bros when he was in Pittsburgh for a couple weeks last spring. You forgot to explain how you have a friend that you've never met in person. I'm curious. :)
ReplyDeleteI met her 4 years ago on a message board for moms expecting babies in April 2007! She lives in Atlanta and we've never met in person before, but we are good "internet" friends. When I heard she was coming to Pittsburgh on a business trip I jumped at the chance to meet her in person. Roger just happened to be on vacation last week so he was in charge of Ian & Aaron while Lauren and I ran downtown to have lunch. Really, a lot of stars aligned to make it happen, but I'm so glad it did! She's just as lovely in person as she is on the computer!
