We recently took a little family trip to Ohiopyle, just the three of us. It was nice to have some time together and to be in a place that wasn't home, where Ian could have some freedom. Ian and daddy played in the water a bit, we spread out the picnic blanket and had some snacks, listened to some live music, and let Ian run around in the grass.
It was refreshing!
Despite the fact that most of our plans this weekend have been altered due to Roger and Ian having hacking colds, we were able to enjoy it. We're absolutely craving time as a threesome, knowing that it will never be like this again. (The same as we were just before Ian was born...)

adorable pictures! Enjoy the family time. Honestly, not to speak too soon, but I think going from 0 to 1 child is harder than going from 1 to 2, but I suppose my kids are farther apart than yours will be.
